The preparations for the next ewoca³ year have begun. In March of this year already, the ewoca³ project planning congress 2014 takes place in Hattingen. More than 40 project partners and experts from a total of 14 European countries are expected. At the congress they will prepare the projects for the summer, exchange on best practice examples and dicuss a number of topics in international youth work. The guiding theme of this year’s congress will be “participation”. True to this motto, the event will be organised as a “barcamp”. This means all workshops and discussion forums will be proposed and organised by the participants themselves, with the possibility of the focus being – according to the needs of those attending – adjusted or reset at the time of the event. More information about barcamps can be found here and of course on Wikipedia. The congress programme is available as a download here.

During the summer of 2014 there will be once again a number of exciting projects with youths as part of the ewoca³ funding programme. The twelve workcamps will take place in the following countries this year: Belarus, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina (3), France, Russia, Estonia, Poland and Turkey. We are also happy to welcome two workcamps right here in Dortmund this summer.
